本標準給出了實(shí)用超導線(xiàn)的一般特性，并提供了實(shí)用超導線(xiàn)的力學(xué)、電學(xué)和超導特性測試方法方面的應用指南。實(shí)用線(xiàn)指的是可以商業(yè)化批量連續制備成足夠的長(cháng)度，且能夠用于制造設備的線(xiàn)材。
本標準尤其關(guān)注實(shí)用超導線(xiàn)不同于常規銅和鋁線(xiàn)的特性。
本標準適用于GB/T2900.100-2017中2.4描述的多種超導線(xiàn)，包含單芯、多芯超導線(xiàn)，復合超導體和涂層導體，以及其他一體化結構的復合超導線(xiàn)。
