本標準規定了注射成型塑料圓柱齒輪（簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)“注塑齒輪”或“齒輪”）輪齒同側齒面偏差和徑向綜合偏差的術(shù)語(yǔ)、精度制架構和允許值。
本標準僅適用于單個(gè)齒輪的偏差要素，而不針對齒輪副。
本標準根據注塑齒輪精度的特點(diǎn)，規定了9個(gè)公差等級，從4級到12級。5.3提供了偏差的公差計算公式。這些公差可以應用于以下范圍：
5≤z≤1000
0.5mm≤d≤280mm
0.1mm≤m_n≤3.5mm
0.2mm≤b≤40mm
β≤45º
其中：
z一一齒數；
d一一分度圓直徑；
m_n一一法向模數；
b——齒寬（軸向）；
β——螺旋角。
